Thanks to IED, I am involved in a project called AIM (Artisans In Movement). AIM is project between small companies and IED students. The goal is to enter the UK market. Double exhibition at Dock en Seine: Comme des Garçons

The other exhibition was dedicated to Comme des Garçons of the Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo. It is meant to present to the public the Spring/Summer 2012 ready-to-wear collection, called White Drama. Comme des Garçons was created in 1969 by Rei Kawakubo and it’s a brand much loved by the fashion industry and people. I realized this in Fashion culture with the lecturer,Mr. Biraghi,  who asked us if we saw the Comme des Garçons fashion show at Paris fashion week. Almost of the guys answered no or didn’t answer!

Double exhibition at Dock en Seine: Balenciaga

Since we had a four-day break for the end of April, I decided to go home in Paris. So I used this occasion to visit the double exhibition Cristobal Balenciaga and Comme des Garçons at Dock en Seine (34 quai d’Austerlitz, 75013 Paris). For the 40th anniversary of the death of the Spanish designer, some of his clothes are exposed thanks to the Balenciaga family. 

En cette fin de mois d’avril, on a eu un pont de 4 jours, donc j’ai décidé de revenir à la maison à Paris (Saint-Denis). J’en ai profité pour aller voir la double exposition consacrée à Cristòbal Balenciaga et Comme des Garçons, organisée par le musée Galliera mais présentée à Dock en Seine ( 34 quai d’Austerlitz, 75013). Pour le 40eme anniversaire de la mort du créateur espagnole, quelques unes de ces oeuvres sont exposées, grâce à la famille Balenciaga.  Continue reading
