Salut, je dois vous parler d’un endroit très connu à Milan: 10 corso Como

I could not leave Milan without saying any word about 10 corso Como. Every fashionistas know this place!

Actually I could not also leave Milan without saying any word about clubs like Plastic, Old Fashion Café, Punks Were Prada… but unfortunately, in one year, I have never been there (I know shame on me! But no time and no money).

En fait je ne pouvais pas aussi quitter Milan sans dire un mot sur les clubs comme Plastic, Old Fashion Café, Punks Were Prada… mais malheureusement, en un an à Milan, je n’y jamais mis les pieds (Je sais: la loose! J’avais pas le temps ni l’argent!!).

10 Corso Como is a concept store created in 1990 by Carla Sozzani, the sister of the Vogue Italia editor-in-chief, Franca Sozzani.

My final thesis: Celebrity Skin!

Hi, ive2tellu about my thesis for my master in Fashion Communication at Istituto Europeo di Design. 

At the end of the year, we had to conceive, realize and present an individual Editorial Shooting and to present our project in front of a committee. 

The main theme was: Starting from a Pulp’s song lyrics Mistakes, Mis-Shapes, Misfits, the focus of the project is on the concept of wrong, in fashion and in the visual culture of the 20th century. A very large subject, so we had a lot of different themes such as Frida Kahlo, New Romantics, Charlie Chaplin…

For my thesis I was inspired by Courtney Love.

Salut, je dois vous parler de ma thèse pour mon Master en Fashion communication à l’Istituto Europeo di Design.

A la fin de l’année, nous avons dû concevoir, réaliser et présenter individuellement un shooting devant un comité constitué de professeurs et de professionnels.

Le thème principal était: A partir de paroles de chansons de Pulp Mistakes, Mis-Shapes, Misfits, le thème du projet est sur ​​le concept de l’erreur dans la mode et la culture visuelle du 20ème siècle. Un sujet très vaste, donc nous avons eu beaucoup de thèmes différents comme Frida Kahlo, New Romantics, Charlie Chaplin …

Pour ma thèse, j’ai été inspiré par Courtney Love.

Hi, Ive2tellu about the documentary on Diana Vreeland, the most important fashion journalist of all times.

Salut, je dois vous parler du  documentaire sur Diana Vreeland, la rédactrice de mode la plus important de tous les temps.

Thank to IED we could watch the documentary Diana Vreeland: The Eyes Has To Travel in theater in Milan.

The documentary was amazing! That woman is insane and fascinating!! It’s a collection of interviews of her, her children, people who worked with her, former models (Veruschka, Penelope Tree, Lauren Hutton…), photographer such as Richard Avedon. We learn a lot of little stories about her.She had the chance to  lived during two most important decades for fashion: the 20s and the 60s. Images of 20s, flapper girls, Josephine Baker, the Beatles., Swinging London… Movies where a character was inspired by her such as : Funny Face (Audrey Hepburn, Fred Astaire) or Qui êtes vous Polly Magoo? 

Grâce au IED nous avons eu la chance d’assister à une projection au cinéma du documentaire Diana Vreeland: The Eyes Has To Travel

Le documentaire était magique! Cette femme est dingue et fascinante! Il s’agit d’un recueil d’entretiens d’elle, de ses enfants, des personnes qui ont travailler avec elle, d’ancien top model (Veruschka, Penelope Tree, Lauren Hutton …), photographes comme Richard Avedon. Nous apprenons beaucoup d’anecdotes. Elle a eu la chance de vivre pendant les deux décennies les plus révolutionnaire  pour la mode: les années 20 et les années 60. Des images des années folles, les garçonnes des années 1920, Joséphine Baker, les Beatles., Swinging London … Les films où un personnage a été inspiré par elle: Funny Face (Audrey Hepburn, Fred Astaire) ou Qui êtes Vous Polly Magoo?

Shooting Womenswear: Ludicrous Luxurious

Hey, je dois vous parlez de mon shooting womenswear

For my womenswear exam I had to create an editorial. The theme was : Bad Taste Looks Great!!! So for this exam I was inspired by the new rich women, very vulgar, who loves to show off their money. I did some research by watching a Brazilian realty show called Mulheres ricas. One the most terrible show of the history but very inspiring, because I could noticed key elements of the look I wanted to create: fur (no matter the color), animal prints, oversized jewels, branded accessories and clothes, pink, jewels very flashy with diamonds… and the attitude : ultra superficial and dramatic!

Styling Guerrilla is a project given by our teacher in order to train our eyes! The goal was to create a story and express it trough pictures with your phone or digital camera : 5 pics of landscapes, 5 pics of moods, 5 pics of fashion, 5 pics of accessories and 5 pics of faces. You don’t talk, the teacher has to find the story! I have to say that I really enjoyed searching around Milan images in order to create a story

Hi, Ive2tellu about my second fashion show as dresser and how I met the French supermodel Constance Jablonski.

Ciao, je dois vous parler mon second fashion show en tant qu’habilleuse et comment j’ai rencontré le top model Constance Jablonski.

After Kristina Ti fashion show, I was also dresser for Franscesco Scognamiglio SS13 fashion show. I was dressed in black, no jewels…we have to be the most invisible! Unlike Kristina Ti fashion show we only had one outfit but vey delicate in chiffon and silk so we were a bit scared to damage the clothes. Not only we had very delicate clothes but we also had to deal with the most important models of the industry such as Constance Jablonski who closed the show.

Hi, Ive2tellu about my experience as dresser at Kristina Ti fashion show during Milan fashion week!

Hello, je dois vous raconter mon experience en tant qu’habilleuse pour le défilé Kristina Ti lors de la fashion week de Milan.

As you may know Milan fashion week started on Wednesday September 19th. The school offered us, student, to participate as dresser to two fashion shows. The first one is Kristina Ti, a rising Italian designer and Francesco Scognamiglio.  This is a good way to participate to the fashion week from the backstage!
